GNE Collect 2 Drop
GNE, THE GREAT EDITION - Artist’s Design Concept
I
With inspiration from GNE Collect 1 : Blk. & Wht. Edition, the black & white tie dye sweatshirt dotes the very first reverse GNE ClassicRec™ Logo and was the exclusive release and introduction into the GNE Collect 2 : I am tieDYEfor Edition.
II
This collect was inspired by John 3:16-17 which speaks of how God loved the world so much, that He sent his son, Jesus, to redeem us from sin. Because of Jesus' obediance to God's will, we were saved. The tie dye theme of this GNE collect adds a lively feel and touch to the much deeper intended message that motivated this collection.
III
The collect name "I am, tieDYEfor" is meant to be a play on the words "I am to die for", because that's exactly what Jesus did. He loved us enough to give His life so we could have life in God through Him.
IV
“I Am,“ is written as such to reverence the vast versality that is God. In Exodus 3:13-15, Moses asked God what should he say God’s name is when he tells the children of Israel that the God of their fathers sent him. God responded in verse 14 with, “I AM THAT I AM:…” and at the end of verse 15 with “...This is My name forever, the name you shall call Me from generation to generation.”

“I Am, The Greatest” tees released second under the Collect 2 drop as homage to Jesus' obediance to God. The color of the stitching on this release was inspired heavily by Isaiah 1:18, “... though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." "I Am," was stitched in the color red to signify the blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins and how He became sin for us on the cross. "The Greatest" is stitched in white to signify that Jesus' blood washes us as white as snow, so that we may be presented blameless before God in the day of judgement.
VI
“I Am, The GOAT” tees highlight the power conquered from death after Jesus rose again. Done to pay homage to God's power and that Jesus is The King of Kings, the gold stitiching of the crown, the explanation marks and the underlining were inspired by Revelation 14:14, which reads "...behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown,...".
This collect is a vibrant reminder of the image of God we were created in and just as God did with Jesus, there is greatness inside of you, too. Remember who you are. Remember WHOSE you are.
Be you. Be fearless. Be great.
